Picture this: a golf cart gliding effortlessly across rolling greens, a scissor lift hoisting workers 30 feet in the air, or a floor scrubber polishing a warehouse the size of three football fields. Behind these operations lies the unsung hero - the US 145 XC2 deep-cycle battery. Designed for commercial and industrial applications, this 6V powerhouse isn't your average car battery. It's built for:
Imagine battery plates tougher than a diamondback rattlesnake's scales. The patented diamond plate design isn't marketing fluff - it increases surface area by 18% compared to conventional plates, delivering that juicy 242Ah capacity. That's like squeezing an extra gallon into your gas tank without changing the size!
While humans battle wrinkles with creams, US Battery fights plate corrosion with Antinium™ alloy. This secret sauce reduces water loss and extends battery life by 15-20% - meaning fewer battery changes than presidential election cycles!
Let's crunch numbers even your accountant would love:
Runtime at 75A | 140 minutes |
Cycle Life | 1,200+ cycles |
Energy Density | 22% higher than industry average |
Take Skyjack SJ63 lifts - operators report 30% longer shift times compared to standard batteries. Or consider Club Car golf fleets reducing charging frequency from daily to every other day during peak season.
The XC2 series plays nice with modern smart chargers, complying with California's latest energy efficiency mandates. Its low internal resistance allows 95% charge efficiency - that's like filling your gas tank with only 5% spillage!
Ever tried moving a 60lb battery without proper handles? The integrated lift handles make installation safer than buckling a seatbelt. And the Speed Caps? They're like childproof lids for battery acid - no accidental spills during maintenance.
As industries shift toward electrification, the US 145 XC2 stands ready to power tomorrow's challenges - whether that's keeping greens pristine or keeping construction projects on schedule. Its modular design even allows creating custom voltage configurations, proving that in the battery world, flexibility is the new currency.

The government’s recently adopted ‘Ukraine Plan’ foresees 0.7 gigawatts (GW) of extra solar capacity coming online by 2027.. A Russian missile attack recently targeted one of the company’s solar farms, but the damage was quickly repaired, as solar panels are much easier to fix and replace than power plants.. The World Bank is financing a tender to equip state-owned hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine with battery energy storage systems (BESS), amid reports of massive damage to the country’s grid and generation fleet.. The firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) to provide the country with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells from its Norway gigafactory to help it maintain stable power. The Zaporizhzhia plant in southwest Ukraine, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, was occupied by Russian troops and hasn’t supplied electricity since September 2022. However, a further three nuclear power plants with seven reactors between them remain operational in the east and south and continue to supply Ukraine with electricity.
The war against Ukraine has led to massive destruction of the energy infrastructure. One consequence of this is blackouts in cities. In the future, renewables such as wind and solar power could form the backbone of Ukraine’s electricity system. (Image: Oleksii Maznychenko / Adobe Stock)
That is about 1.7 gigawatts (GW) worth of wind turbines behind Russian lines, including the largest wind farm in the country, near Zaporizhzhya. For solar power, the picture is similarly dark. The two largest solar plants in the country are in occupied parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, nearly 600 megawatts of capacity sitting derelict.
They have determined that solar and wind energy would quickly deliver a distributed power supply system and prevent corruption. The war against Ukraine has led to massive destruction of the energy infrastructure. One consequence of this is blackouts in cities.
Some 13% of Ukraine’s solar generation capacity is in territories controlled by Russian forces while around 8% is considered damaged or completely destroyed. This is according to reports from Oleksiy Orzhel, the recently appointed chairman of the Ukrainian Renewable Energy Association, who has cited official statistical data.
This technical potential is enormous. The researchers estimate that the potential for wind energy is around 180 gigawatts, while for solar energy it’s around 39 gigawatts. A total capacity of 219 gigawatts would vastly exceed the generation capacity of 59 gigawatts that Ukraine had at the start of the war.
