Imagine powering an entire small business for 12 hours with a device smaller than your office water cooler. The Powerporter 9kWh Dongguan Hephaestus Battery makes this possible through its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry - the same technology protecting your smartphone from spontaneous combustion, but scaled up for industrial warfare against energy waste.
Guangzhou's Sunrise Textile Factory replaced their diesel generators with 18 Powerporter units, achieving:
While competitors' batteries sweat under pressure like first-time presenters, Hephaestus' liquid-cooled system maintains optimal temperatures through China's brutal summers. It's like giving your battery a personal air-conditioned cabana.
The global industrial battery market grew 28% in 2024, driven by:
With self-diagnosing capabilities that put WebMD to shame, the Powerporter sends automated health reports through its IoT-enabled platform. Last month, a Shanghai facility avoided $12,000 in downtime costs when the system predicted a coolant pump failure 48 hours in advance.
While competitors brag about 2-hour fast charging, Hephaestus engineers discovered something radical - most factories don't need instant recharges. By optimizing for 4-hour charging cycles aligned with utility rate drops, users save 18% on electricity costs without productivity loss.
Recent upgrades enable seamless integration with:
With 8,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, the Powerporter outlasts 93% of the equipment it powers. It's the Energizer Bunny's weightlifting cousin - keeps going...and going...and powering your CNC machines through three shift rotations.

The government’s recently adopted ‘Ukraine Plan’ foresees 0.7 gigawatts (GW) of extra solar capacity coming online by 2027.. A Russian missile attack recently targeted one of the company’s solar farms, but the damage was quickly repaired, as solar panels are much easier to fix and replace than power plants.. The World Bank is financing a tender to equip state-owned hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine with battery energy storage systems (BESS), amid reports of massive damage to the country’s grid and generation fleet.. The firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) to provide the country with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells from its Norway gigafactory to help it maintain stable power. The Zaporizhzhia plant in southwest Ukraine, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, was occupied by Russian troops and hasn’t supplied electricity since September 2022. However, a further three nuclear power plants with seven reactors between them remain operational in the east and south and continue to supply Ukraine with electricity.
The war against Ukraine has led to massive destruction of the energy infrastructure. One consequence of this is blackouts in cities. In the future, renewables such as wind and solar power could form the backbone of Ukraine’s electricity system. (Image: Oleksii Maznychenko / Adobe Stock)
That is about 1.7 gigawatts (GW) worth of wind turbines behind Russian lines, including the largest wind farm in the country, near Zaporizhzhya. For solar power, the picture is similarly dark. The two largest solar plants in the country are in occupied parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, nearly 600 megawatts of capacity sitting derelict.
They have determined that solar and wind energy would quickly deliver a distributed power supply system and prevent corruption. The war against Ukraine has led to massive destruction of the energy infrastructure. One consequence of this is blackouts in cities.
Some 13% of Ukraine’s solar generation capacity is in territories controlled by Russian forces while around 8% is considered damaged or completely destroyed. This is according to reports from Oleksiy Orzhel, the recently appointed chairman of the Ukrainian Renewable Energy Association, who has cited official statistical data.
This technical potential is enormous. The researchers estimate that the potential for wind energy is around 180 gigawatts, while for solar energy it’s around 39 gigawatts. A total capacity of 219 gigawatts would vastly exceed the generation capacity of 59 gigawatts that Ukraine had at the start of the war.
